Sri Ramakrishna used to say, ‘Man is Narayana Himself. If God can manifest Himself through an image, then why not through man also?’ He declared very categorically that God-realization is the aim of human life. Ramakrishna order performs relief service keeping in view the ideal of "Shiva Gyan se Jiva Seva ". Swami ji coined the term daridra-narayana, God in the form of the poor, and asked to serve Him: ‘Where should you go to seek God—are not all the poor, the miserable, the weak, Gods? Why not worship them first?’ This concept of ‘service as worship’ defines the outlook of the Ramakrishna Order in all its social-service undertakings. In spite of being a Math center, regular distress relief and winter relief has been carried out in Varanasi, Mirzapur and Sonbhadra district. Recently relief has been carried out in… …………. areas by distributing… ………….(materials). Monthly old age pension is given to the __ number of destitute widows of the nearby areas. Monthly help is also extended towards poor students by giving financial assistance and distributing study materials for their education.
