Other Celebrations
- The birth tithi of the first president of Ramakrishna order, Swami Brahmananda ji and the founder of the Kashi Advaita Ashrama, Swami Shivananda ji is celebrated with special puja, havan, ramnamsankirtan and discourses.
- Christmas day is celebrated on 25th December's evening with the Bible reading and carol singing.
- Birthdays of Lord Buddha, the ninth incarnation of Lord Vishnu and other direct disciples of Sri Ramakrishna is celebrated by decorating their portraits and evening discourses are organised on their life and teachings respectively.
- Dol Purnima, a day before Holi is celebrated as the birth tithi of Lord Chaitanya by conducting discourses on his life and teachings. Hari-kirtan is sung in the morning and Shyamnamsankirtan in the evening.
- Apart from this, on every amavasya (new moon night) Ramanam sankirtan and on every purnima (full moon night) Shyamnam sankirtan is done after the vesper service of Lord Ramakrishna in the Durga Mandap.
Daily Discourse
For the awakening of the spiritual consciousness and to have deeper understanding of the religion, daily evening discourses (pravachan) are organized in the ashrama premises on different shastras in Hindi and Bangla. On going subjects of pravachan includes Ramakrishna Kathamrit, Upanisads avataranika, Patanjal Yogasutras, Valmiki Ramayana, Bhagavad Gita, Bhagvat Mahapurana, Sri Ramakrishna Lila Prasanga and Sri Ramakrishna Punthi. Vivekananda Study Circle
Vivekananda Study Circle
Youth icon Swami Vivekananda conveyed his ideas directly to the people, especially to the youth. To quote from the Government of India's Communication, “it was felt that the philosophy of Swamiji and the ideals for which he lived and worked could be a great source of inspiration for the Indian Youth.” Hence, Vivekananda Study Circle was initiated by the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission nationwide which runs in Varanasi jointly by both the centres on Sunday at 10 am. Reading and discussion on the life and work of Swami Vivekananda is done in the light of "Man making and Character building" orientation by the learned monks and eminent scholars.

Occasionally, day long spiritual retreat cum Bhakta Sammelan is organised for the spiritual growth of the devotees. Monks address the devotees on the various spheres of spirituality.
